No as long as you have a profile you should be able to upload videos it can be a pain to use but you can do this

I cant find this option either. I go to Content hit the + button but if I try to upload a video I get a message saying "file type not supported".

OK Worked it out. It's the same process as photos, but the videos have to be under 100mb - which means they'll have to be very short and/or low resolution.
